Here's what happens when you buy gutter coil through a standard regional distributor. The aluminum mill produces the coil. A national distributor buys it in volume and stores it in a network of regional warehouses. A regional distributor buys from the national, adds their own margin, and sells to you from a local yard. Most international supply chains add line items after the quote: port fees, brokerage charges, last-mile delivery, freight surcharges. DDP eliminates all of that.
