Why Custom Manufacturing Changes the Math
Standard distributor stock is built around the most common specs — the gauges and widths that move the fastest. If your job needs something outside that window, you're either adapting the installation to the available material, or you're paying premium prices for a distributor to special-order it from somewhere up the chain.
We don't carry warehouse stock. Every order we produce is custom-built. That means the spec you need — the gauge your machine runs, the width your job requires, the color that matches the existing architecture — is the spec we produce, at the same factory-direct price as a standard order.
Custom isn't a premium tier here. It's just how we work.
What We Can Custom-Build
- Non-standard gauges: We run .019, .024, .027, .032, and .040 as standard. We can also produce intermediate and heavier gauges on request.
- Custom widths: Standard coil widths don't fit every machine or every job. We slit to any width you need.
- Custom color matching: Send us a chip, a photo with a paint code, or a RAL/Sherwin-Williams reference and we'll color-match for your production run.
- Non-standard profiles: Box gutters, architectural profiles, or gutter shapes that don't fit standard K-style or half-round categories.
- Custom alloy or coating specifications: Job spec books that call for specific alloy grades, primer systems, or coating warranties beyond standard residential.
- Mixed-system orders: Coil, downspouts, elbows, and accessories — all built to a single spec in one order, one DDP shipment.

Common Questions
Is there a price premium for custom specs?
No — custom specs are priced the same way as standard specs: factory cost plus DDP logistics. There's no "custom order surcharge." If the material and production is the same as a standard run, the price reflects that. Some truly non-standard configurations may carry slight setup costs, which we'll disclose upfront.
What's the minimum order for a custom spec?
We're a production-run supplier, not a prototype shop. Minimum quantities are discussed on the quote call based on the spec. Custom color matching, for example, requires a minimum run to justify the setup. We'll be upfront about what makes sense at the quote stage.
Can you match a color from an existing installation?
Yes. Send us a physical sample — a chip, a piece of coil, a section of downspout — and we'll color-match it for the production run. Photo references with paint codes (RAL, Sherwin-Williams, etc.) also work for most standard color families.
Do custom orders still ship DDP?
Yes. All orders — standard and custom — are priced and delivered DDP. Duties, freight, and delivery to your yard are included in the quoted price regardless of spec.
What's the lead time for custom specs?
The same as standard: 4–6 weeks from spec sign-off to your yard. Complex custom configurations are confirmed at the quote stage — if the spec requires additional lead time, we tell you upfront before you commit.
